Welcome Back!
We’re so excited to kick off another amazing school year at Kenowa Hills Middle School! As we welcome back our returning families and those joining us for the first time, we’re looking forward to a year filled with growth, learning, and meaningful connections.
Middle school is such an important part of your child’s journey, and we’re honored to partner with you in supporting their success—both in and out of the classroom.

-Half Days: Monday, August 25 and Friday, August 28
-Half-Day Dismissal: 11:09 AM
-School Doors Open: 7:20 AM on school days

We had a great time at MICareer Quest on May 20, and it was exciting to see our students engaged in exploring future career pathways. As we build on that experience, we are also looking forward to several end-of-year events that help celebrate our students and all they have accomplished.

Students have now completed their iReady end-of-year assessments. We are proud of their effort, and any remaining makeups will take place next week.
We also have several upcoming opportunities and events for our 8th grade students:
MySchool@Kent Summer School (for future 9th graders, 2026–2027): No cost, limited to 30 students. Applications are available from Mrs. Latham and due by May 22.
